I’m not sure yard signs have a place in my portfolio, but I think this is worth sharing. The orchestra performs at a lot of community events and promotion/wayfinding is important since there’s a variety of venues and event types. In an effort to cut costs and waste, I came up with these yard sign shells.
We have branded events and the core info doesn’t change, but of course the dates and venues do. I had several shells printed on plastic corrugated as well as separate sheets with the date and venue. I’m attaching the date and venue panels to the shells with Command Picture Hanging Strips.
The first batch of date and venue panels were printed on plastic corrugated, but I think I could have them printed on a heavy paper stock and that would work just as well, unless they fall apart in the rain.
