Marketing doesn’t have to be expensive

Smoketown USA menuI was on my way back from a meeting and got stopped in traffic waiting for a train. A guy from Smoketown USA was walking around handing out menus to everyone waiting. They’re just around the corner from the intersection at the railroad tracks so I’m guessing that whenever traffic is stopped for the train, he grabs a stack of menus and heads out.

Pretty clever, if you ask me. I’ve been wanting to try them, but haven’t made it over there yet. You can bet I’ll remember them now.

Marketing doesn’t always have to be expensive, but it should always be smart.
